Salem is coming off a 5-4, comeback win over Christ Our Rock handing the Lady Stallions their first loss of the season. Christ Our Rock led 4-1 before Salem scored 4 runs in the bottom of the fifth. Breanna Thurman and Jaelyn Keller had 2 hits, a double and RBI for Salem. Mya Russell doubled and scored, Alivia Rasul had a hit, RBI and run scored. Emma Lpie also had a hit and drove in a run. Reagan Schuler got her first high school win going 7 innings allowing 4 runs on 9 hits with 10 strikeouts.
Emma Williamson and Liv Torrence both ahd 2 this and drove in a run. Katie Oelze added a hit and 2 RBI. EIU signee Williamson pitched six innings, allowing five runs, 2 earned, on nine hits with 9 strikeouts and only 1 walk.
The Salem Lady Wildcats play in the DuQuoin Tournament today. They play New Athens at noon and then the hosts at 2.
