A 42-year-old Xenia man was injured Wednesday morning when losing control of his pickup truck while driving northbound on I-57 five miles north of the Salem exit.

State Police say preliminary information indicates that the pickup ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a guard rail, embankment and tree stump.   The truck then overturned.

The Salem Fire Protection District was called, but Burdine was already out of the truck and no extricaiton was needed.
