Mobile home fire on Orange Street in Sandoval.

A fire heavily damaged the Andrew Cranford mobile home at 409 North Orange Street in Sandoval early Tuesday morning.

Sandoval Fire Chief Scott Towler says Cranford woke up smelling smoke and was able to escape without injury.   When firemen arrived considerable smoke was showing from underneath the mobile home in the area near the wood burning stove.

Towler reports the fire burned along the bottom of the mobile home and firemen had to remove much of the living room floor to reach it.   The inside of the mobile home also received considerable smoke and water damage.

Firemen received the call at 4:41 Tuesday morning and were on the scene until eight am.  Sandoval received mutual aid assistance from Odin and Centralia City Firemen on the scene.
