The Salem Wildcats tennis team won the back draw of the Triad Tennis Tournament over the weekend. The tournament began with a 3-2 loss to Mt Zion. Juan Diez earned the singles win for Salem with the doubles team of Jackson Green and Brody Elwood also getting a win.
Salem then beat Paris 3-2. Jarrett Rushing and Diez earned singles wins with the doubles team of Carson Huggins and Kyler Sapp clinching the win.
Salem then beat Bloomington 3-2 in the finals of the back draw. Rushing and Diez won their singles matches again and the doubles team of Elwood and Green also pulled off the win.
