The Salem 8u Wildcats won a pair of games over the 618 Express. They won the opener 20-0. Cavan Rose drove in 5 runs for the Wildcats. Everett Eubank, Huck Mulvaney and Gabe Purcell had 3 RBI each. Salem won the 2nd game 19-1. Nolan Crouse drove in 5 runs. Mulvaney added 4 with 3 each from Burke Collier and Eubank.
The Salem 12u Wildcats split a double header with the Mt Vernon Renegades dropping the first game 7-5 and then winning the second game 14-5. Nolan Krutsinger threw 2 no hit innings with 6 k’s. Isaac Knapp had 4 strikeouts and Weston Crouse struck out the side. Jacob Butts had a big day at the plate with 3 hits including a 3-run homer. Zac Jones added 4 hits, Brantley Brumfield had 2 doubles with Maxsen Tiemann and Maddox Lagrosso adding doubles.
