In the last indoor meet of the regular indoor season at Indiana State University (Hosted By Vigo High School) CORLHS Jr. Landyn Mitchell won the 60M Hurdles for the 2nd week in a row, this time against Indiana schools.
Mitchell won his prelim in :8.55 and then would come back in the finals and take home first place in :8.52. Mitchell had ran :8.46 the previous weekend at a meet at Principia College and as of now that stands as the #1 class 1A time in the 60M Hurdles. He will compete this Friday March 28th at Illinois Weslyan University in the Class 1A Illinois Top Times Meet.
Jr. Rylee Brammeier also had a strong race today in the 3200 meter improving her time from her other indoor race by :37 seconds finishing in 13:21.3. She has had a very good indoor campaign.
The Stallion Boys put together a strong effort in the 4000M Distance Medley Relay finishing in 12:08.3 just 8 seconds shy of the school record. Zerek Koch, Mitchell, Wyatt Gregory and Carson Pigg competed for the Stallions.
