The Centralia Orphans baseball team is in action today at West Frankfort. The Orphans are coming off a tough 6-5 loss to Benton on Wednesday.
Yesterday, Mt Vernon fell to Civic Memorial 11-5. In the loss, Ty Pierce went 2-4 with an RBI, Diedrich Smith added a hit and drove in 2 runs, Alex Kiefer doubled and scored twice.
