Tonight, Centralia is the site where Centralia will take on Carlyle at 4:30, Casey Mt Vernon will play Wesclin at 5:30 and the championship will be tonight at 6:30.
Salem will open up tomorrow as the host for the one day tournament.
Selmaville was the site for the Class S Region 13 opening night. Sandoval knocked off Central City in the semifinals and then pulled off the upset of top-seed New Horizon in the semifinals to put themselves into tomorrow night’s championship. They will take on Selmaville, who defeated Willow Grove/St Mary in the other semifinal 30-28, 27-25. Brylee Carter had 8 points and Alli Patrick and Alana Howe added 7.
At Bluford last night, Field won the Region 14 tournament knocking off Raccoon in the finals. The night began with Geff beating Kell before Kell would fall to Field including a 25-0 match with Armoni Lamont serving all 25 points! Raccoon beat Bluford to advance to the finals. Field will play in this weekend’s state tournament.
