Both the cities of Centralia and Salem are reminding individuals that political signs are not permitted on state or city right of ways under city ordinance.
City officials are kindly asking those running who have signs located on public rights of way to move the signs to private property to avoid them being removed by the city.
In Centralia, signs will be stored at the Public Works Department.
