Linda Jean Berry, age 83 of Centralia, Illinois, died on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 2:49 PM at Carlyle Healthcare and Senior Living.
She was born in Olney, Illinois, on March 12, 1942, a daughter of Thomas Rosborough and Mildred Smith Owen. On October 25, 1963, she married George Berry, and he preceded her in death.
Linda is survived by one daughter, Lori Helen Berry of Centralia; a sister, Diana (Jerry) Hamilton of Beckemeyer; a brother, Roy Rosborough and special friend Darlene Johnson of Beckemeyer; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband; a daughter, Lisa Ellen Berry; and a brother, Rex Rosborough.
Linda was a member of Little Grove Christian Church in Walnut Hill, Illinois.
Services will be held at Zieren Funeral Home (1111 Clinton Street, Carlyle, IL 62231) on Monday, March 9, 2026. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, and a funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Lance Boldt. Interment will follow at Carlyle Township Cemetery.
