A 26-year-old Centralia woman was formally charged in Marion County Court on Friday with aggravated battery to a peace officer and resisting or obstructing a peace officer.
Brook Nossett of Edgewood Lane is accused of chest pumping a Centralia Police Sergeant while he was performing his official duties on March 6th. She was also charged with resisting or obstructing a peace officer for allegedly pulling away from another Centralia Police Officer as he was escorting her into the Centralia Police Station.
Nossett was released on pretrial conditions following her first court appearance Friday. She is due back in court for a preliminary hearing on April 15th. A public defender was appointed to represent her.
