The boys sectional championships are tonight.
The Centralia Orphans will head to Marion for the 3a Sectional championship against Triad. Centralia is 29-4 on the season and are looking for their 2nd straight Sectional title coming off a thrilling 46-43 last second win over East St Louis. Triad is 28-6 on the year after dominating Mt Vernon in the 2nd half of their 43-27 semifinal win. Game time from Cuss Wilson Gym in Marion is at 7pm.
The winner will advance to Springfield next week for the Super Sectionals against the winner from Decatur Eisenhower that will see Chatham Glenwood take on Mt Zion.
In Class 1a, St Anthony and Tuscola will play at Red Hill. Goreville and Mounds Meridian will play from Cobden.
In 2a, Breese Central and Althoff tip off from Carterville at 7pm. Auburn and Williamsville will play for the Greenville Championship TTown will take on Warrensburg Latham at Tolono Unity.
In 4a at Collinsville, Quincy will take on Normal Community.
