Shirley Mae Wilson, 75, of Mount Vernon, IL, passed away at 10:20 p.m. on February 28, 2026, at Nature Trail Health Care in Mount Vernon, IL. She was born April 28, 1950, in Morris, IL, to Oscar Bjelland and Amy (Kallem) Bjelland. Shirley married Ron Wilson on June 11, 1997, who preceded her in death in 2019.
She is survived by her Children, Amy (John) Scott, Brandon (Tricia) Morlan, Josh Morlan, Ron (Jill) Wilson, Lisa (Brad) Lamprecht, Donnie (Shelley) Wilson, Denise (Dan) Ayers, Lonnie Wilson; Grandchildren, Hillary (Sean) Keip, Hallie Scott, Noah Morlan, Ryan (Jordan) Wilson, Jessica (Jon) Young, Jenna (Justin) Bradley, Hannah Lamprecht, Josh Lamprecht, Jacob Lamprecht, Austin Green, Luke Wilson, Ella Ayers, Jacob Ayers; Great-grandchildren, Ford, Bauer, Oakley, Camille, Jacob, James, Della Kate, Adelynn, Emery, Lily, Carter, Stella; Sister, Mavis (Ray) Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Amy Bjelland; her husband, Ron Wilson; her beloved stepfather, Orville Christian; and her brothers, Milford and Al Bjelland.
She enjoyed traveling with Ron. She loved gardening and her flowers. She especially loved Christmas and the Christmas dinners her family came for.
Per her wishes, she will be cremated with no other funeral services at this time.
