The IHSA boys basketball sectional semifinals are tonight and tomorrow.
In Class 3a tonight, Mt Vernon heads to Marion to take on Triad at 7pm. The winner will advance to Friday’s finals against tomorrow night’s winner between Centralia and East St Louis. At Eisenhower tonight, Champaign Central takes on Chatham Glenwood with the winner getting either Lincoln or Mt Zion who play tomorrow.
In Class 1a tonight, Dieterich takes on Tuscola at Red Hill. The winner will play tomorrow’s winner between St Anthony and Webber in Friday’s finals. Also tonight at Cobden, Goreville takes on Okawville and tomorrow it’s Waltonville and Mounds Meridian.
In 2a tonight at Carterville, Breese Central takes on Benton at 7pm. The winner will get tomorrow’s winner between Althoff and Vienna. Also tonight, Teutopolis takes on Monticello at Tolono Unity with the winner getting either Lawrenceville or Warrensburg Latham in the finals. At Greenville tonight, Auburn plays Pleasant Plains and tomorrow it’s Williamsville and Staunton.
In 4a tonight Quincy and Alton play at Collinsville. The other semifinal is tonight at Pekin between Normal Community and Rock Island.
