The Marion County Soil and Water Conservation District is currently taking orders for their spring tree and fish sale.
Fish available for ordering include Channel catfish, Largemouth Bass, Flathead Minnows, Black Crappie, Hybrid Bluegill, Bluegill, Redear, and Triploid Grass Carp. All fish orders are due by March 14, 2025. The fish will be available for pick up at the Marion County Farm Buereau, located at 1630 N Broadway in Salem, on Thursday, March 27 at 2:00 PM.
Trees available are Bald Cypress, Peacan, Swamp Chestnut Oak, White Flowering Dogwood, Red Oak, Sassafras, White Pine, Norway Spruce, and White Spruce. Tree orders need to be received by March 21. Trees are expected to be available for pick up at the Marion County SWCD office, located at 1550 E Main in Salem, on Friday April 4.
