The Lady Wildcats track team started their indoor season yesterday at the Joe Elliott Early Indoor in Marion.
Selmaville grad and freshman Carly Veach took 4th in the 60m hurdles setting a new indoor record in a time of 10.32.
Finley Puricelli was 2nd in the high jump clearing 5-1 and 2nd in the 400 as well as 4th in the 200. Eden Gallia 11th in the 200 out of 53 runners. Emily Runyon cleared 7-2.5 to tie for 5th in the pole vault. Hannah Smith was 4th in the shot. Ella Smith just missed a PR throw. Freshman Emma Tate set a new PR with a throw of 23-4.
As a team Salem was 8th out of 22 teams. They will compete March 8th at the SIU-C Indoor.
