A 31-year-old Centralia man has been arrested for threatening a public official, resisting arrest and on an outstanding Clinton County warrant.  Centralia Police say Emmanuel Robinson of McKee Street in Centralia allegedly ran from the scene of a fight Sunday night at North Maple and Cormick Streets.  Reports indicated he threatened one of the police officers by saying it would be better if he was not wearing a badge.  Robinson was taken to the Clinton County Jail on the outstanding warrant.

34-year-old Zachary Horton of Queens Avenue in Odin was arrested on a Clinton County no bond failure to appear major traffic warrant.  He was expected to be transferred from the Marion County Jail to Clinton County.

Two were released on notices to appear following separate arrests at the Centralia Walmart store.  Brenda Riddle of Tanner Street in Louisville was arrested for both retail theft and possession of methamphetamine allegedly found in her position.  32-year-old Elizabeth Wight of Kroger Street in Wamac was arrested for retail theft.  Both were given notices to appear in court.

Centralia Police are investigating a lock broken off a shed in the 1000 block of College Street in Centralia on Sunday.
