Lady Cats Fail To Advance To Team Bowling Finals….Hamilton & Amburgey Will Roll Individually

The Salem Lady Wildcats failed to qualify to the team finals of the IHSA state bowling tournament at Cherry Lanes in Rockford.  Salem was 15^th, 43 pins out of the final advancing spot.  Harlem leads the team competition with Mascoutah 6^th and O’Fallon 9^th.  They both will roll today.

Individually, Ulyssa Garcia of Oak Lawn is in the lead with Emily Blanchard of Mascoutah 4^th just 174 pins out of the top spot.  Amber Montante of O’Fallon is 10, Sidnee Nelson of Herrin 12th and Maddie Brandenburger is 14^th of Columbia.

Also competing today individually is Salem’s Brooklyn Hamilton as the sophomore shot 1192 and averaged 198.7 sitting in 24^th place.  Teammate Willow Amburgey also rill roll today as the junior shot 1097 for a 182.8 average and is 65^th.

Also competing for Salem but not advancing was Ava Birch who shot 1065, Brooklyn Bookout 707, Lilah Barrows 853 and Amelia Courtright 440.
