The Salem Lady Wildcats failed to qualify to the team finals of the IHSA state bowling tournament at Cherry Lanes in Rockford.  Salem was 15th, 43 pins out of the final advancing spot.  Harlem leads the team competition with Mascoutah 6th and O’Fallon 9th.  They both will roll today.

Individually, Ulyssa Garcia of Oak Lawn is in the lead with Emily Blanchard of Mascoutah 4th just 174 pins out of the top spot.  Amber Montante of O’Fallon is 10, Sidnee Nelson of Herrin 12th and Maddie Brandenburger is 14th of Columbia.

Also competing today individually is Salem’s Brooklyn Hamilton as the sophomore shot 1192 and averaged 198.7 sitting in 24th place.  Teammate Willow Amburgey also rill roll today as the junior shot 1097 for a 182.8 average and is 65th.

Also competing for Salem but not advancing was Ava Birch who shot 1065, Brooklyn Bookout 707, Lilah Barrows 853 and Amelia Courtright 440.
