A 27-year-old Centralia man who failed to complete the Marion County Drug Court program has been sentenced to three years in prison.
Zechariaha Pigg of County Highway 18 had pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of methamphetamine and one count of possession of a controlled substance containing cocaine to enter the program. All three of the drug charges were for incidents on different days.
In addition to the three years in prison, Pigg will have to complete six months of supervised release, be given credit for time served, and have a recommendation for substance abuse treatment while in prison. He was allowed to be released on electronic home confinement until February 25th when he will report to the Marion County Jail to begin serving the sentence.
While the petition to revoke his drug court participation contained multiple counts, Pigg admitted to missing an appointment with a peer recovery specialist.
