Centralia Tigers Drop State Semifinal, Will Play For 3rd On Saturday

The Class L SIJHSAA state basketball tournament continued last night.  The Centralia Tigers dropped a heartbreaker to Marion 58-54.  Murphysboro nipped Carbondale 60-52.  The Tigers will play Saturday night for 3rd place at Rend Lake against Carbondale at 6pm followed by the state title game at 7:30.
