The Salem Wildcats are scheduled to head to Roxana today after yesterday’s games was canceled due to the weather. The Cats JV will start at 5:30 followed by the varsity start around 7 on WJBD.
Last night, TTown traveled to Mattoon and won 61-51. Alex Kremer led the Shoes with 17, 13 each from Landyn Thoele and Mick Niebrugge. TTown is 19-10 and will finish up regular season play Friday night on Senior Night hosting Olney.
Also last night, Carlyle wins the Illinois Division of the Cahokia Conference outright with a 51-48 win over Okawville. The Tribe finished the league at 9-1. Matthew Guthrie led the way with 25 points. Aidan Anderson led the rockets with 20.
Sophomore Westin Nielson hit 9 three pointers on his way to 29 points as the SC Cougars beat Oblong 68-35. Brody Markley added 16 in the win. Smith finished with 13.
On Senior Night, Sandoval beat Central A&M 75-70. Josh Gordon led Sandoval with 25, Drew Gore added 17 with Quinton Heinzmann adding 16 points and 17 rebounds.
