The Salem Wildcats are set to finish up the regular season and Cahokia Conference tonight with a road trip to Roxana.  Salem is 7-21 overall and 2-7 in the Conference and will finish 5th as they are 2-7.  Roxana is 13-16 overall and 4-5 in the Conference and they will finish 4th.

The league is locked in its final standings as Breese Central completed the perfect season in the league with a 90-26 win over Wood River.  Griffen Becker, Karson Korte and Carson Moore all had 12 for the Cougars.  Columbia knocked off Freeburg 68-38 to finish 2nd in the league with the Midgets 3rd.

For 28 years the Webber High School scoring record stood at 2,088 points held by Jared Payne (1994-97).  He was in attendance last night as junior Nathanial Marlow needed 14 points to tie and finished with 36 as Webber beat Woodlawn 70-63.  Marlow currently sits at 2111 and has another season after this to add to that total.

Waltonville coach Anthony Lowery led his Spartans to a 65-37 win over Wayne City and it marked Coach Lowery’s 100th career win.  The Spartans are 23-4 on the season.

Also last night in boys basketball, Christ Our Rock nipped Hamilton County 55-54, Patoka/Odin fell to Martinsville 47-32, Sandoval lost to McGivney 89-57.
