The Carlyle Lake Main Dam will be temporarily closed to pedestrians beginning Tuesday, February 18. Although the dam will be closed, this will not affect walkways on the east or west sides of the dam. Visitors will need to take different paths including the Kaskaskia River Trail along the spillway, running, or biking, as well as the Carlyle Lake Bike Trail, which wraps around the lake and throughout the city of Carlyle.
