The Centralia Cultural Society is staging Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream this Friday and Saturday. The show’s cast of eighteen people are members of Actors Alive, an adult acting class at the Cultural Society. The group has been working on the show intensively since the beginning of January.
Director Viki Loomis says the show is a rollicking comedy that audiences will be able to enjoy and laugh along with. She says the show has been well-received so far by people who got to see it early.
Showtimes for A Midsummer Night’s Dream are 7:30 PM on Friday and Saturday, with a Saturday matinee at 1:30 PM. Doors open half an hour before showtime. Tickets at the door are $12 for adults, $10 for patrons, and $7 for children 12 and under. Tickets are $2 off if purchased in advance.
