Both drivers were examined at the scene, but declined hospital treatment following a two vehicle crash at Main and Hotze in Salem.
Salem Police say a car driven by 67-year-old Malinda Claybourn of Mt. Moriah Road in Centralia was westbound on Main Street when she apparently ran a red light and hit the rear driver’s side of a pickup truck driven by 27-year-old Joshua Williams of Tonti Road in Salem.
Claybourn was ticketed for failure to obey a traffic control device.
The Salem Fire Protection District was also called to the scene, but they reported no extrication was needed.
The crash occurred at 1:13 Monday afternoon.
