West Ellis Street Railroad crossing in Central City remains closed until further notice

Central City officials say the West Ellis Street Railroad crossing remains closed to all traffic until further notice.

There will be marked detours.   Access to the west side of Central City over the railroad tracks will be available through the West Green Street crossing.

The closure is due to the construction of a new water line to serve the new Centralia Water Treatment Plant.
