The Salem Wildcat bowling seniors finished their amazing careers with a 6th place finish on Saturday at the IHSA bowling state tournament at St Clair Bowl in O’Fallon. Salem battled all day to come back to finish in the top half of the field. They leave their mark on the school with 3 consecutive trips to state, including 2 state titles and finishing 3rd last summer in the National High School Bowling Championships held in Pennsylvania. Silas Moats, Rhett Detering, Ryan Detering, and Keaton Gullion are the seniors.
Harrisburg won the state title and Breese Central was 3rd.
