Janet Fortag, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the age of 79 with her daughters holding her hand.
Janet was born in Centralia on Friday, July 27, 1945, to David Collinsworth and Wanda (Fetgatter) Collinsworth.
Janet was a true admirer of Elvis Presley and John Wayne and her love for animals was a testament to her gentle soul.
Janet’s legacy continues through her loving family: her daughters, Dava Booth of Centralia, and Tammy Brozovich and husband Jim of Breese; her brother, David Collinsworth and wife Tammy of Centralia. Her memory will also be cherished by her grandchildren Travis, Tara, Tonya, Hillery, Anthony, and Heather, and her great-grandchildren Sheradon, Adrian, Clay, Haylee, Brayden, Carsen, Addy, Emma, Grayson, Nora, and Auggie and a great-great-grandson, Marcellus.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved son Jason Booth, and her sister Andrea Means. Their memories live on in the stories she shared and the love she instilled in her family.
