The Marion County Board will receive an update on animal control at Tuesday night’s meeting.
The board will be asked to approve a contract with the Doggie Den in Centralia to hold up to 15 dogs and will also receive an update on the animal control meeting with the Centralia City Manager. The board will also review invoices from Paws Here Veterinary Services for $7,878 after a $500 donation for housing dogs since the contract with the City of Centralia expired.
The board will also be asked to appoint a new acting county engineer until a new county engineer is hired.
An ordinance will be presented to recognize the Veteran’s Assistance Commission of Marion County.
The meeting begins at 6:30 Tuesday night in room 302 at the Marion County Courthouse.
