The Selmaville Grade School celebrated the top accelerated readers during the second quarter with a school assembly on Friday where one teacher was slimed.
Physical Education Teacher Paige Davidson wasn’t sure how she was so popular to be selected by the winning fifth grade class to be the teacher slimed.
The top ten Accelerated Readers in the school were also honored. Brice Telford led the list with 113.9 points. He was followed by Isaac Knapp, Harper Helpingstine, Azeemah Adenekan, Aiden Linder, Samara Simmons, Hayden Young, Briella Handegan, Piper Gray and Payton Dunbar.
