Centralia won the 73rd Salem Invitational Tournament over rival Mt Vernon 44-32 and in doing so picked up win #2400 in program history.  Dustyn Collins had his best game of the tournament scoring 20 points.  Tournament MVP freshman Archie Goewey finished with 7 along with Jaxson Hancock.  Michael Organ added 8.  Mt Vernon was led by Brogan Holloway with 12.

TTown won the 3rd place game in overtime over Champaign Central 54 to 51.

The Salem Wildcats fell in the consolation finals to Carbondale 51-29 after beating Charleston in the semi-final of the consolation division 61 to 36.   In the loss to Carbondale, Salem also lost senior Noah Nix to a shoulder injury and he had to be taken to the hospital after his injury late in the first half.  Salem was led by Ryegan Warren with 10 and Ayden Rose added 9.  Nix was named to the 2nd Team All-Tournament along with Collins of Centralia.

In the first trophy game of the day, Charleston knocked off Effingham 52-42.
