There are still some icy spots left on rural and secondary roads. One of those led to a crash early Friday morning.
A 29-year-old rural Kell man was traveling westbound in a pickup truck on the 4000 Block of England Road in Kell when he began sliding on the ice-covered roadway, over-turned into a creek and flipped his vehicle in the Southbound ditch. John Heath of the England Road declined any medical treatment.
After the accident, Heath walked to the nearest residence to receive help. The pickup truck had to be towed from the scene.
