MTC: At the MTC Tournament last night, Red Hill eliminated Patoka/Odin in the consolation semifinal 62-52 and will play Wayne City for the trophy after their 63-28 win over Cisne. Tonight is the Final Four as Waltonville takes on Grayville at 6 followed by Webber and Woodlawn.
Benton: The Benton Invitational continues tonight with consolation semifinal games. Roosevelt High from St Louis will take on Hamilton County at 6 followed by Vandalia and Sesser Valier.
Nashville: Last night were the consolation semi’s at the Nashville Invitational. Mascoutah advanced to the consolation finals with their 75-28 win over KIPP Academy and Mater Dei handed Metro East Lutheran a 57-30 loss. Tonight Marion will take on Breese Central at 6 followed by Waterloo and Nashville in the other semifinal.
Okawville: At the Okawville Tournament last night, Christ Our Rock was defeated by the hosts 57-44 on the consolation side with Madison beat Gibault 52-44. The tournament will resume tomorrow with championship semifinals.
Sparta: At Sparta, Murphysboro beat Freeburg 48-37, Steelville over Trico 53-34 and Marissa beat Sparta 53-47. Tonight it’s Pinckneyville taking on Trico followed by Red Bud and Steeleville and then Marissa takes on Freeburg.
Litchfield: At Litchfield today, in the Silver Bracket semifinals it’s Alton Marquette taking on Roxana and Nokomis plays Greenville. In Bronze Bracket play Pana will play Father McGivney and Litchfield takes on Hillsboro.
