The Salem Wildcats finished 2nd at the Cahokia Conference Bowling Championships finishing 2nd, 184 pins behind Breese Central who had an amazing 4-game block of 4506. Columbia was 3rd followed by Freeburg, Roxana and then Wood River. Individually, Rhett Detering was the conference champion shooting 1023 with Silas Moats and Ryan Detering 7th and 8th respectively and Keaton Gulllion was 13th.
The Lady Wildcats were conference champions! They were 59 pins ahead of Freeburg in 2nd with Columbia 3rd followed by Breese, Roxana and then Wood River. Salem’s Willow Amburgey was 2nd to Freeburg’s Miranda Duff. Brooklynn Hamilton was 4th, Amelia Courtright, Mallory Hopkins and Ava Birch were 11-12-13.
Salem’s Carter Shanafelt was on the Pacer Team and shot a tournament best game of 297.
