The President of Meadow Woods Holdings says work will begin this year on the next two phases of the Castle Ridge Development.
Greg Sutton explained the plan at Castle Ridge’s first event of 2025, the Cardinal Caravan.
“Our next project here is our cottages and lodges here along the lakefront, followed by an amphitheater and hotel in 2027.”
Sutton says 40 cottages and lodges will be built in the first phase. That number will increase to 100 before work begins on a 150-unit motel connected to the conference center and with great views of the lake.
Sutton says the amphitheater will allow for large events.
“We start construction on the amphitheater this fall. That will serve up to 5,000 there, and after that we plan to build our main stage area which will be able to host up to 25,000 folks.”
The first event of the year drew more than 160 to see, question, and get autographs from several St. Louis Cardinals on hand. Cardinals Marketing Coordinator Erin Krippene was extremely complimentary of the hospitality at Castle Ridge the past three years calling it one of their best stops on the caravan.
