In varsity play last night, Carlyle played for the first time in 13 days improving to 13-2 overall with their home win over Steeleville 52-30. Hayden Huels led the Indians with 189 points. Canon Ruby had 14 for Steeleville. Carlyle is at Pana tomorrow and then play a makeup game at Okawville on Saturday.
Also last night, Benton routed Cairo 92-45 setting up another showdown tomorrow night with Pinckneyville, this time in Benton.
