Salem grad and Southern Indiana sophomore Alek Bandy made a splash as his Eagles traveled to Chicago over the weekend for a Swim Meet with Northwestern and the University of Illinois Chicago. Bandy finished 2nd in the 1000m freestyle with his time of 10:24.55 setting a new PR by 5 seconds and earning him the team’s Swimmer of the Meet. Bandy is majoring in Economics.
