The first baby of the New Year at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital is Kayce Cameron Johnston. He is the son of first-time parents Alexis Davis and Cameron Johnston and excited grandparents, Tammy and Sam Johnston.
The healthy baby boy was born at 7:06 on New Year’s morning, weighing seven pounds and 11 ounces and measuring 20 and a quarter inches.
Director of SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital Labor and Delivery Unit Tammy Parish says every year they are excited to welcome the New Year’s baby. She says it is a joyous occasion for all symbolizing the start of new life, hope, and happiness.
