The Centralia Annies dropped their opener of the Mascoutah Invitational falling to Freeburg 46-41. The Annies return to action today when they play Belleville West in the 3pm game in the Auxiliary Gym. If the Annies win they play for the consolation title at noon Monday, if they lose they fall to the last place bracket. Freeburg lost then to Alton in the quarterfinal.
Today’s Semifinals begin at 11:30 with Alton and O’Fallon followed by Breese Central and Nashville at 1pm.
