Celebration of 3 million accident-free miles for Brain "Smiley" Riddle.

An XPO truck driver based out of the Salem Service Center was surprised with a celebration Monday marking 3-million miles of accident free driving.  Service Center Manager Josh Dunahee told the Marion County Board Monday night Brian ‘Smiley’ Riddle has driven 26 and a half years accident free to reach the milestone.

“It is a huge accomplishment, and he is part of only half a percent of our entire driver population,” Dunahee said. “Out of 13,040 drivers, he is number 70 to achieve this great accomplishment.”

Riddle was given an escort from Sandoval to the Salem XPO service center for the celebration which also included a Salem Police unit and two Salem fire trucks.

A steak cookout was held for family, friends, co-workers and retirees as part of the event.

Riddle will receive his own dedicated brand new Kenworth Tractor with his name and accomplishment decaled on the door.
