Olney’s Rex Hallam made his return from an ACL injury late last year, and the Olney Tigers rode that momentum to their 2nd win of the season over Salem, this time 56-38 at Richland County High. Hallam came off the bench and scored 10 of his 15 points in the 2nd quarter. He was perfect from the field going 6-for-6 including a pair of 3’s. Arjay Keller added 12 in the win.
The Cats were led by Noah Nix with 13 points, but he was saddled with foul trouble. Ryegan Warren added 9 and Avery Gullion had 7. The Cats fall to 1-8 on the year, they return home for Friday’s game against Freeburg.
