A 30-year-old Salem man has been formally charged in Marion County Court with stalking and public indecency following two incidents where he allegedly looked through a front window of a home on North Ohio and exposed himself while committing a sex act.
John Anderson of East Rogers was ordered held without bond following his first court appearance on Monday. Judge Douglas Jarmin noted in his decision that Anderson had a history of similar offenses in Ohio and security video indicated in addition to the Saturday night incident that led to his arrest he had committed a similar act at the same home on North Ohio on November 25th. The judge also noted that GPS bracelet would not prevent another incident.
Anderson had a public defender appointed to represent him and was ordered back to court on January 7th for a preliminary hearing.
