Carlyle’s Wyatt Gebke made a basket at the buzzer to give Carlyle a 46-45 buzzer beating win over Franklin Park. After a timeout, Gebke came out and made a runner in the lane as time expired for the victory. Bentley Bryan led Salem with 16, Owen Tennyson added 13 and Ben Lux finished with 10. Drew Selle led Carlyle with 24 and Hunter Johnson added 10.
Salem won the JV game 52-25. Lux had 16, Dakota Gregg 9 and Emit Gibson 7 in the win.
Also last night, North Wamac/Irvington/Grand Prairie lost at Spring Garden 52-35. In the loss, Mayson Pearson had 16 and Dawson Dearing added 12. Spring Garden won the JV game 46-16.
The Centralia Tigers are in action tonight at Herrin.
