The KC Blue Devils dropped their first game of the year to St Louis Community College 76-70. The Devils were just 11-of-23 from the free throw line. They were led by Lyonel Hodges with 27, Anthoni Sandford added 13, Myles Liddell 12 and Marquel Newsome 11. Darric Smith led St Louis CC with 27. KC is 9-1 and will host Shawnee Community College on Wednesday.
Rend Lake beat Illinois Central College 75-56. Rolen Adams led RLC with 22 points and 9 rebounds. Navontae Nesbit added 15 points, 6 rebounds 3 assists and 2 steals. Elijah Edosa also added his 5th double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.
