Carlyle snapped Pinckneyville’s streak of 6 straight Kaskaskian Tournament titles when they beat the 5th ranked Panthers Saturday 67-55. It’s the first Kaskaskian title won by the hosts since 2013. Carlyle put 3 on the All Tournament Team including Jacob Ruscher, Matthew Guthrie and Hayden Huels. Pinckneyville also put 3 on the Team that included Ty Laur, Riley Bauersachs and AJ Keith.
Woodlawn nipped Greenville in the 3rd place game 30-29,

Hillsboro over Okawville 42-38 for 5th place and Flora lost in the 7th place game to Riverview Gardens 52-43.

Murphysboro beat down everyone they played at the DuQuoin Tip Off Classic rolling through Cairo, Chester, DuQuoin and Sparta during the round robin week. They also put 3 on the All Tournament Team including Kemmeon Hale, AJ Boese and Cade Brooks who was named MVP.

Hamilton County won their own Foxes Invitational going 5-0 with wins over NCOE, West Frankfort, Gallatin County, Wayne City and Edwards County.
