Then the boys schedule begins with Lawrenceville and Carlisle County, Kentucky at 1:30, Effingham and Carbondale play at 3, Waltonville against Meridian in a 1a showdown at 4:30 and then Olney and Marion finish the day at 6pm.
Also today is the SSM/WMIX Shootout in Mount Vernon. The day starts with a pair of junior high games with Casey and Nashville starting with the girls at 9:30 and then the boys at 11. Wesclin and Gateway Legacy play in a prep boys matchup at 12:30, then the Lady Rams take on Mt Carmel at 2:15. The Breese Central Cougars take on Althoff at 4, East St Louis and Peoria High at 5:45 and the final game is Mt Vernon and Alton at 7:30.
