The City of Kinmundy has a full day of Christmas activities planned on Saturday concluding with a lighted Christmas Parade and a visit with Santa and Ms. Claus at the library.
Mayor Angie Diss says activities will kick off with a craft vendor fair at city hall and the community center. Over 35 vendors have signed up.
There will be a scavenger hunt in the craft vendor area at one. Storytime at the library is planned for noon and two. The Kinmundy Log Cabin Village will have a free drive-thru Nativity scene from one to three. Mr. and Mrs. Christmas will be named at the library at 3:30 with the winners riding with Santa in the Christmas parade at five.
The parade will begin at Akin and Second, travel to Third Street, and then Third Street to Monroe. It will end at the library where there will be cookies and treats with Santa and Ms. Claus.
