Wildcats Fall At St Anthony, JV Pull Out Tight Win….Salem Hosts Breese Central Friday….Prep Basketball Roundup

The Salem Wildcats dropped their regular season opener at St Anthony last night as the Bulldogs were red hot from the field in the first half and dominated play for the majority of the night winning 68-48.  The Wildcats will be right back in action Friday when they play their first home game of the season hosting Breese Central.

The Salem JV Wildcats won their season opener 62-59.  Eli Baker had 15 for the Cats, Avery and Payton Gullion finished with 10 each.  Madden Thompson added 6 off the bench.

Sandoval beat Mulberry Grove 63-46.  Drew Gore led the Blackhawks with 16 along with Josh Gordon.  Quinton Heinzmann and Trayton Adams had 9 each.

South Central got 32 from Seth Bergmann in their 90-22 win over Ramsey.  Bergmann hit 6 three pointers on his way to a career single game high.

At the Carlyle Kaskaskian last night, Woodlawn beat Hillsboro 73-58 and Greenville over Riverview Gardens 46-29.
