Franklin Park returns to boys basketball action tonight at the Benton Tournament to take on Casey Mount Vernon. Last night, they earned a regular season win over Effingham 54-48. Owen Tennyson led Salem with 22, Zane Applegate finished with 11. The JV won 47-28. Kaiden Washington had 14 and Ben Lux 12.
Last night, Selmaville beat Rome 47-38. In the win, Corey Cano had 25 for the Rockets, Rafe James added 12. The Rockets lost the JV game 28-23. Kasen Harris had 7 and Jacob Butts 6 for the Rockets in the loss.
Altamont Lutheran beat Iuka 44-17. Vince Krajefska led the Pirates with 8. Altamont also won the JV game 40-13. Eli Bookhout had 8 in the loss.
Patoka beat St Mary’s 49-30. Jesse Cain had 15 and Lemmy Kuhn added 12. Kru Cain finished with 9.
