The Salem JV bowlers were 4th at Belleville over the weekend in the Futures Tournament. Jaxon Ward had a great day finishing 2nd overall averaging 230 for six games. Nicholi Marhanka was 11th, Carter Shanafelt 26th and Kolby Hempen 30th. Mascoutah won the team title with Breese Central and Belleville East in the top 3. Salem was 110 pins from third place.
The Lady Cats varsity bowled their first tournament at Highland winning the Silver Division. Brooklyn Hamilton led the girls with a 181 average. Hamilton and Willow Amburgey had the high game of 202 for Salem along with Mallory Hopkins. Ava Birch shot 201.
The Salem Wildcat varsity bowlers are at home today hosting Bluford.
